About Deadfest
Formed in 2018, Deadfest Band is a six-piece tribute outfit from the Chicagoland area devoted to capturing the spirit, sound, and soul of the Grateful Dead. More than just a cover band, Deadfest channels the improvisational energy and timeless grooves of the Dead’s legendary live shows—blending heartfelt vocals, tight musicianship, and extended jams into every performance.
What truly sets Deadfest Band apart is their soulful vocal approach and rich three-part harmony vocals, adding emotional depth and a fresh dynamic to every song. This vocal strength, combined with authentic musicianship, makes for a powerful live experience that resonates with both die-hard Deadheads and new fans alike.
